School Challenge
A Difference You Can See!
Our school challenge projects get caring students and schools involved in a specific water and sanitation project for a portion of – or during the complete – school year. It takes months to construct our water and sanitation projects and for many students, they don’t get to see pictures of a completed project until well after they have finished their fundraising.
The school challenge allows students to be inspired to get involved because they’ll be fundraising at the same time as the actual project construction!
What makes the School Challenge so different?
Construction for these unique projects begin while participating students are fundraising! This means they'll received regular updates, including pictures and stories, so they can see first-hand the impact of their involvement.
How long will it take to complete this project?
As participating schools raise funds throughout the school year, School Challenge projects normally launch in the fall, anticipating completion by World Water Day in March.
What happens when we reach our fundraising goal?
If the funds raised upon project completion surpass our goal and the pledges submitted by participating schools, we will direct additional funds raised towards another important project. There are always projects needing your support so all fundraising campaigns will make a difference! Should this fortunate situation occur, we will then also provide information on the additional project(s) to participating schools.
Our latest School Challenge project is here! This year, we need your help to raise $30,000 to help improve the lives of over 2,500 people in Kenya!
