McGregor Easson Public School
Grade 5/6 Class (Ottawa, Ontario)
A Grade 5/6 class from McGregor Easson held two very successful fundraisers!
At the first, students sold chocolate Valentine-o-grams to the whole school - raising approximately $150!
Their most successful fundraiser was their indoor winter carnival which raised about $250. The carnival, organized by the 5/6 class, was attended by every grade. This very creative class came up with the carnival games, canteen ideas and even a raffle! Feedback from the event was very positive with many students saying it was the best day ever.

The carnival, which was held in the school gym, featured many activities including: a fish pond, target shooting, bowling, musical chairs, face painting and magic tricks. Students who won their game would a prize coupon to be 'cashed in' at the prize table! Almost every student left the carnival with a prize.
In April, Ryan was able to visit the school to help answer questions and congratulate the students on their efforts!
Fantastic work!
